There are what appear to be 2 minor dings or slightly flattened areas of the bronze surface on the bird's tail. They are minor & fortunately occur at the rear & top of the rear of the tail. These were no doubt caused from previous drops of the weight over the yrs & is evidence of prior use & lends it its verifiable antique pedigree. It features its orig, oxidized bronze finish w/nat aged patina. Untouched & undisturbed. Wonderful form & wonderful orig bronze surfaces. What are you using on your desk as a paperweight?
