    Description

    Save, restore, upgrade your Pioneer SA-9800 Integrated Amplifier. The last of a generation.
    For sale, a brand new power supply pcb that is assembled and tested except for the VFD transformer. The old transformer needs to be transferred over from the old power supply. This improved design addresses a number of reliability issues regarding the original design. Implements hi-performance heatsinks, 105C Nichicon ecaps, Wima & Panasonic film caps, precision resistors, short circuit protection on the supplies.
    High quality terminal blocks are specified for easy installation.
    This design is compatible with all SA-9800 versions, which specify either AWR-191, AWR-194 & AWR-196. These assemblies have fuse ratings, usage and different wiring options between the different SA-9800 models. This is all documented in the build guide, schematic and cloud links to docs/pics.
    These are custom assembled upon purchase, note the handling time specified.

    oz. copper cladding,
    green solder-mask, silkscreen printing for easy component location/identification.
    Assumptions are, that the purchaser is familiar with assembling electronics. It is not intended for a novice. You need the following skills, reading schematics, assembly documentation, know how to solder, de-solder, use a DMM (Digital Multi-meter) to test, have necessary tools. You need to remove the original pcb, remove and transfer over the old transformer to the new pcb, install new pcb, test.
